Béis – My Thoughts on 4 of Their Products

I’ve seen SO many ads on the Béis luggage sets and I won’t lie…it’s very tempting considering the colors and features they all have. BUT the price stops me in my tracks. 😂

Fortunately, they have lots of other products to choose from that look like they would make traveling easier in different ways. One of my first eye-catchers was the weekender bag because of how much it seemed to fit inside and the way the product was thought out. I didn’t go with it this time since I wasn’t getting any of the luggage and I feel like all of that would go better together. Another one I really wanted but have no use for right now was the pet carry-on. If you couldn’t tell already…ads and marketing can get to me pretty easily sometimes. 🤭

Nonetheless, I tried to keep a realistic mindset and only get what would actually be useful for me currently. I also wanted my total to be as close to $125 as possible since that’s the mark for free shipping (on U.S. orders) and I actually got really close to that with the help of a discount code I found online (“welcomeQpB9wr”). My total was $125.80 and I earned 145 points on this order. Pay over a hundred dollars for a few things? Okayyyyy. Pay an extra $7 for shipping? Absolutely not. 👀

These are the 4 products I got:

  • The Seatback Organizer ($24)
  • The Dopp Kit ($48)
  • The Flat Iron Cover ($28)
  • The Hanging Jewelry Case ($48)

I won’t get to use them for actual travel for another three months since our next trip isn’t until the end of May, but I’m SUPER excited to use them for all trips to come!

All of the links below along with the discount code I mentioned above aren’t affiliated with me and there’s no commission on these, unlike the other links I’ve shared in some of my other posts.

The Seatback Organizer

This one comes in 2 color options- black or beige. It’s made out of a few different materials, the main one being faux-leather (PVC). It also has magnets at both ends so it doesn’t slip off an armrest or the back of an airplane seat.

I went with black thinking it might hide any stains or dirt since it’ll be used in the airplane a lot, specifically the backseat. I’ve always been a clean freak and especially since covid started I hate not sanitizing everything around me or using something that isn’t mine (such as pens or random miscellaneous things that you randomly need).

The main items I think I’ll keep in this are a couple of pens (especially for filling out those customs forms when going international), antibacterial wipes, earphones, lip balm, tissues, and a few extra face masks. I’m not sure yet if I would keep my boarding pass, passport, ID, or any other important documents like that in here since it doesn’t fully zip close. The large clear pocket does of course, but I wouldn’t want to be pulling it out multiple times and have anything on the smaller pockets fall out.

Plus, David has a small booklet-sized pouch that he usually keeps both of our important documents in when traveling and I use it too if I go alone. Like I said though since I haven’t taken any of these with me on a trip yet, I don’t know for sure how I’ll use it, I’ll post an update after I do!

The Dopp Kit

AHHHH another one I’m super excited for. Like the one before, this one’s also available in black or beige.

I probably don’t have to say this, but the separate bottom compartment along with the extra-wide opening up top is what sold me on this. It’s like their weekender bag, but for your toiletries.

For the longest time, I’ve always just stuck all my toiletries into a couple of gallon-sized ziplock bags. Hopefully, I’ll be able to fit everything I need into this and finally ditch the ziplock bags for travel, although those were pretty helpful in preventing leaks. I’m guessing I’ll fit skincare in the top compartment and dental care in the bottom. Again- we’ll see this May.

The Flat Iron Cover

There was only one color option for this which I was ok with. I’ve seen other brands carry covers and pouches for heat tools, but my way was always to just wrap it in a dry washcloth. I’d also use the same rag to place the straightener or curler on top so the countertop wouldn’t get hot or stained.

That method worked well but I’d sometimes worry the washcloth would slip and then other things in my suitcase would get slightly burned. Although I try my best to schedule my “getting ready” routine with enough time to let my tools cool down before packing everything up and leaving, it doesn’t always work out as planned so this cover will really help me have some peace of mind!

The Hanging Jewelry Case

I know I’ve already said how excited I am to use all of these, but this one…this one I would actually pay separate shipping for if I had to. 🤣

First of all, it’s an organized person’s dream with the number of pockets and zippers it has. PLUS a divider/holder for necklaces. There are also a few magnets up top so when you fold it up and close it, it doesn’t just pop open.

I’ve been needing an organizer for about a year and a half now, but haven’t found a good enough one on Amazon. I almost went with one from Kendra Scott, but it was on the pricier side and it wasn’t for travel. My main problem is organizing my jewelry when traveling because here at home I have everything in its place in one of my dresser drawers. But when I go anywhere for a few days I throw everything into one of those little blue Kendra Scott dust bags and then everything becomes an entangled mess.

My only solution to that has been to just bring fewer necklaces and plan my outfits around 1-2 necklaces or separate them into multiple little baggies. Overall, it becomes too much and then I don’t even wear any of it.

Needless to say, I think I’ll be able to fit everything I want into this one for our next trip and actually wear the jewelry I pack for once. 🙌🏼
